BlueHost Review for BlueHost Hosting Solutions

June 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Well I’m nearing up on the 6th month mark since I made the switch to BlueHost as my Hosting Solution. I have talked about this about in a previous publication here my partner loves bluehost. I figured 6 months was a great time to talk about uptime and my experiences with the support.

I’m not the ‘techie’ in our little partnership. I deal with the money, the sales calls, and the content. Ed does just about everything else and that includes dealing with our servers. I’m the reason we switched the sites we had that weren’t on our dedicated servers to blue host and some other providers. Ed wanted the range of IP addresses that is tough to get on your own dedicated boxes. I also wanted a play ground for the Ruby On Rails apps Ed’s been building lately. BlueHost fit the bill.
So from Site5 to BlueHost we went. I have to say we are still pleased and I haven’t had to even deal with support for any problems. Ed did however talk to them about changing some of my settings and it happened in less than 5 minutes.

We are running membership sites, blogs, scripts, and even a rails app or two over at BlueHost and we haven’t had a single issue yet.

So the six month review stands. If you don’t need a reseller account I haven’t found anything better. Here is the direct link to BlueHost.
