Newbie Mistakes 101

In No particular order..Please add to the list

1) Spamming—- Emails, forum posts, blogs etc.
2) Not researching their market
3) Not focusing on their product or service. Changing focus with the wind- Finish setting something up before moving on to another concept. Don’t promote 50 things till you learn how to promote 1
4) Marketing a bad or outdated concept
5) Spending more than their budget.
6) Not owning their own WEBSITE!!!!
7) Not building their own clients (Lists)
8.) Not having every action they take GROW their on-line value

I could go on for ever.

Here is what I attempt to tell everyone that’s new:

“Explore your passion or hobby. Turn your passion or Hobby into your online marketing business opportunity. Build a website about your passion or Hobby.

Others will interested in your passion or hobby. SOFT SELL products associate with your passion or hobby. Add passive income streams to your website with associated products, advertisement venues etc. in a Noninvasive way.

Market to the General Public, there are more of them then Internet Marketers. ( IM Business to Business is great don’t get me wrong) Learn some basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), basics of Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

Learn the basics, set a budget, stay in budget. Hire trustworthy professionals if and when you need them.

Your personal website is an extension of yourself. If you act like a used car salesman you will be treated like a used car sales man.

Let you passion and hobby lead you to your online success. Learn the basics of marketing. Stay in budget. Hire professionals when you need them. Focus on your personal products, not those of others.

Once you know the basics you can expand and Market other products successfully and expand into multiple streams of passive income. ”
